The Ionian is famous for its gorgeous beaches and crystal clear waters. So it’s no wonder Katja and Josh chose to hold their bright and bold tropical wedding on the Ionian Island of Lefkada.
Giant palms, colourful flowers, a fruity drink in hand, and that laid-back ease that you just can’t deny — it’s all part and parcel of the tropical vibes. This was exactly what Katja and Josh wanted and their beach wedding certainly had all the feel-good island energy!
Tropical Wedding Flowers
When it came to the flowers, Katja went for bold and beautiful! Arrangements included tropical leaves with red and orange island flowers. The exotic Anthurium was the main feature of the bridal bouquet with its trendy, tropical shape. While Protea’s and Strelitzia’s (also known as Bird of Paradise) brought angle and texture to the wedding arch and reception arrangements!
Tropical decor means juicy colours, rich greens, and romantic island vibes. When it came to the reception, tables were set with bright blue vases, tropical flowers, candles and rattan placemats. The couple chose prosecco, as well as four signature cocktails for the drinks reception, ensuring their guests were in the mood to party the night away. All of this attention to detail came together to create a fun and relaxed wedding experience.
