It was after Brodie’s parents stayed at Villa Rosa during a holiday on the island, that she and Mark decided on a pink and white villa wedding on Kefalonia. They fell in love with the islands’ scenery and knew the view from the villa would be perfect for their ceremony.
The couple decided on a soft pink and white colour scheme for their day, which looked gorgeous against the blue skies and turquoise seas of the Ionian. They said, “I do” under a beautiful flower arch in the gardens of Villa Rosa, witnessed by close friends and family.
The bride met her father outside her villa, where they had a few emotional moments together. The pair, along with the beautiful bridesmaids, were then serenaded by two traditional musicians to the ceremony area and up the aisle.
After the ceremony, during the cocktail hour, Brodie and Mark made their way down to the beach in front of their venue for their couple shoot. With nearly no one on the beach, the couple got to enjoy a few quiet moments against the dramatic Kefalonian coastline.
Cleopatra and her team of trusted suppliers did a great job decorating the reception area, with a garland of pink and white flowers down the centre of the table. She brought a little romance to the setting with floating candles and a touch of sparkle. Each chair was decorated with its own soft pink sash and flowers, and guests got to spend the evening enjoying a view of the sea over the pool.
The couple treated guests to a delicious Greek buffet, followed by speeches which had everyone tearing up. Speeches were followed by the cake cut, dancing and celebration, which lasted long into the night.
To Brodie and Mark, it was so lovely to meet you and cover your day. I pray you are blessed with many long and happy years together, and I hope life brings you back to beautiful Kefalonia in years to come.
