I had been booked to shoot a wedding on the island and before I flew out, Scott contacted me. He wanted to find out about booking a destination engagement shoot.
He and Gabi were going to be in Mauritius at the same time as me. The island is filled with gorgeous hotels and tropical sites. And the couple planned to see them all, including swimming with dolphins and hiking to waterfalls. Little did Gabi know, Scott planned to propose during their trip!
We met on the beach in front of LUX* Boutique Resort in Le Morne just before sunset. It was the most perfect evening for photography. After hearing how the question was ‘popped’, we spent two lovely hours capturing these dreamy beach engagement portraits.
