Sara and Dan’s Belgravia couple shoot took place early one October morning before the couple started work. When I asked Sara what she was thinking of wearing for her couple shoots she said, ‘So I have this great plum coloured hat’ and just like that, I knew things were going to be super cute.
I love using Pinterest to help inspire my clients with clothing and colour idea’s for their photos, as well as giving them an idea of the kind of images I create. After chatting about the shoot we decided on a blush, plum and navy colour pallet for their session. Perfect for a modern and cosy Autumn feel with a stylish twist – all in beautiful berry tones with a splash of navy.
We met in Victoria station and walked towards Ebury street in Belgravia together. This is one of my favourite parts of London. The buildings are beautiful. There are columns, little pots filled with topiary trees and (my favourite) the occasional set of checkered stairs.
We spent their shoot wandering the streets in the early morning light. Looking in all the pretty little shop windows, enjoying the tree-lined streets and sharing a few giggles. The gorgeous white pillars and potted plants of the house’s facades also made for the most fantastic backdrop too. All of this coming together and making for the most beautifully romantic images of the most lovely couple.
If you’re considering having your own couple shoot, I would be over the moon to be considered as your photographer. It doesn’t have to be to celebrate an engagement or another big event. You don’t have to be married either. Sometimes it’s just nice to document a little slice of this wonderful thing called life that you get to share with someone special. Don’t be shy, get in touch if you would like to know more.
Wonderful pictures, Maxeen!
