I am so blessed to know so many strong, driven and wonderful women. Last week Tuesday, 8th March, was International Women’s Day and I decided that this week was a good time to introduce you to a woman who has inspired me, supported me and cheered me on when things have not gone according to plan.
Louise Beukes is not only a talented stylist but the heart and soul behind B.LOVED, a beautiful wedding and lifestyle blog based in the UK, where I used to be an Assistant Editor. We did this shoot during last year’s rather chilly November between my travels and I so loved editing these images. She really is as lovely as she looks.
She has been a friend, mentor and boss to me and I have learnt so much from her, but by far the most fantastic thing she has ever taught me is simply this:

Empowered women, empower women. It is my dream, hope and wish after seeing all the fantastic stories shared last week on IWD that more and more women step out, give up competing and start empowering each other. Let’s make 2016 a year of celebrating each other’s uniqueness and successes – because life is a far better place when you are cheering each other on (preferably with champagne in hand!).
